My daughter is a pre-pro at Charlotte Ballet and has been recovering from from a frayed hip labrum and a few normal overuse injuries. Jenna was referred to us and highly recommended by David Popoli who specializes in physical medicine for dancers at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Jenna has been an integral part of my daughter’s healing so that we could avoid her having to go through hip surgery. In addition she is extremely aware of the demands on a dancers body and has been proactive in preventive treatments and stabilization to avoid additional dance related injuries. I wish I could give higher than a 5 star review because her passion and dedication to helping my daughter heal along with maximizing her performance in dance certainty is superior! As a ballet teacher myself for over 25 years I have worked with many physical therapists and Jenna Evans so by far the best I have had the honor to work with. If you have an injury and need help getting back to activities you love or simply want to be the best athlete and increase stability for injury prevention then Jenna is the answer!

Working with Jenna has helped me build so much strength and confidence. I was struggling with my balance, especially on beam. No one taught me how to engage my core and glutes. Now I use those muscles to help me balance and the beam has become so much easier.” She has taught me how to use my muscles in different ways that have helped me master skills I have been struggling with in the gym. Within one month Barrett went from struggling to keep her balance on beam to mastering her cartwheel roundoff and double back handspring! about it.

“Empowerment through knowledge…. that is what physical therapy does. My favorite part of my day is to take care of my body and build strength to become the best artist I can be. I have noticed my jumps are better, I feel more flexible and have more stamina. [All this this knowledge and skill from PT] builds and builds into this beautiful machinery of artistry”

Working with Jenna and Prima is the best thing we have done for Lily's Dancing. She really helped her understand why alignment, strength exercises, and recovery are important. I KNOW that connection doesn't happen anywhere else.

My ankles were so weak, they were constantly rolling. Ever since I started with Jenna, my calves and ankles have become so much stronger and actually support my tumbling skills and landings.

The most valuable aspect of working with Jenna is taking the time outside of class and target specific muscles. It has really helped my class and performance. New ways to approach difficult steps and take care of my body.
